Unico Power is a Smart Energy Solutions company that helps facility owners control their electrical demand and other costs. Our flexible control systems are running in over 150 buildings, each managing up to 150 intelligent charging stations and ready to handle their 22,000+ parking spaces.

We are rapidly expanding across North America, so if you are an electrical contractor, condo board member, or condo owner, contact us to find out how we can work to bring intelligent energy management to your building.

The world is going electric - not just in how we generate energy, but in how we use it. Consider that one electric vehicle at home can use the same peak power as 3-4 entire three-bedroom homes. Left unmanaged, this growth will lead to major spikes in peak demand - spikes that the Grid can't sustain without massive cost.

Ever have your microwave and your toaster plugged into the same outlet and turned them both on? Things go dark quickly. You can manage this by turning on only one at a time. That's energy management (power management, really). But what if you had 7 toasters and 7 microwaves? That's what plugging in one Electric Vehicle can be like. And what if, like a Condo building, you had 20 or even 100 electric vehicles? Unico Power helps by automatically managing power levels in the building to support all these loads with the same infrastructure and for less money. Simply and automatically.

We don’t stop there though. Our Cerebro™ Energy Management System coordinates the electric vehicle charging with everything else that is going on in the building. The same power can be used for two different things: Air Conditioning goes on; EV charging goes down. Five cars charging at full power seamlessly moves to 10 cars charging at half power when more drivers plug in. When your utility introduces things like peak demand charges, time of use, real time pricing, capacity pricing, and Automated Demand Response – Cerebro™ has those covered too.
