John Dempsey

John Dempsey has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career in 1980 as an Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation. After that, they held positions such as Project Manager and Commodity Management at the same company. In 1994, they became the General Manager at NECX Ltd, where they stayed until 2000. John then worked as the Director of Sales EMEA at Converge from 2000 to 2001. In 2002, they joined Lucent Technologies as a Supply Chain Consultant until 2004. John then served as the Materials Manager at Maysteel in 2004 and Medtronic in 2005. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Program Manager at Multis Group Ltd. Finally, they joined UNICOM Engineering (formerly NEI) in 2011, starting as the Director of Operations until 2012 and later becoming the Snr Director of Operations from 2013 onwards.

John Dempsey attended the University of Galway from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Engineering. John later pursued additional studies at the same university from 1982 to 1983, earning a Diploma in Quality Assurance (Dip in QA) in the field of Quality Assurance.
