UniLab enables technology-driven university founder teams and startups to transform research breakthroughs into successful, high-value ventures through specialised mentorship, targeted training, and funding support.

UniLab Defence, backed by the Latvian Ministry of Defence and four science universities, accelerates dual-use deep-tech startups as a NATO DIANA site. It connects startups with NATO’s resources, test centres, and end-users in defence and industry.

In 2026, UniLab will launch a National Defence Pre-Accelerator to build Latvia’s defence innovation ecosystem and help startups scale advanced solutions for national and NATO needs.
