Matthew Elder has over 14 years of experience in operations and supply chain within the chemicals and manufacturing sectors. They began their career as an Automotive Technician at BMW Group from 1998 to 2002, followed by various roles at BASF, where they served as National Operations Manager for Australia and New Zealand, and continued to advance in leadership positions. Currently, Matthew is the Plant Manager at Unilever, where they focus on optimizing resource use and enhancing production processes. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Western Sydney University and a Diploma in Competitive Systems and Practices from Complete Lean Solutions. Matthew is recognized for their strong problem-solving skills, team building, and expertise in implementing lean continuous improvement initiatives.
