Alejandro Camargo is an experienced academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Universidad del Norte since July 2018. Prior to this role, Alejandro worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Geography at Université de Montréal from December 2016 to July 2018, focusing on urban water governance, climate adaptation, and disaster politics. Alejandro also held adjunct professorships at Universidad de Los Andes and Universidad del Rosario, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on water geography and agrarian anthropology, respectively. Alejandro holds a PhD in Geography from Syracuse University, a Master's degree in Geography from Universidad de Los Andes, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
