Shane Smith

Shane Smith is a dedicated student and athlete at Union College, where Shane is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics. As a member of the NCAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Shane represents the Men’s Lacrosse team, facilitating communication between athletes and the athletic department. Additionally, Shane serves as an Ambassador for the Gift of Life Marrow Registry, organizing events to promote marrow and stem cell donations. In the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Shane holds the position of Philanthropy Coordinator, focusing on fundraising efforts for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and other charitable initiatives. Balancing a rigorous academic and athletic schedule, Shane has demonstrated strong commitment and leadership throughout various extracurricular activities since starting at Union College in 2019.
