Patrick Niland

Patrick Niland serves as the Deputy County Manager for Union County, NC, since April 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing Health and Human Services, Emergency Management, Emergency Communications, and various other departments, along with serving as a liaison to 16 Volunteer Fire Departments. Prior to this role, Patrick held the position of Assistant County Manager at Union County, managing similar departments. Previous experience includes Town Manager for the Town of Wingate and Local Government Consultant with All American Associates, as well as City Manager for the City of Claremont, North Carolina. Patrick Niland holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Coastal Carolina University, earned between 2003 and 2006.
