Patrick has over three years of experience as a data scientist and advisor, developing forecasting and strategy algorithms, data science applications, and business intelligence systems. Patrick has a deep understanding of machine learning and optimization, with a specialty in natural language processing. Prior to joining Union Settlement, Patrick was a Lead Consultant & Data Science Specialty Lead at Excella, where they developed and scaled deep learning systems for the Federal space. Patrick also served as a Data Scientist - Strategic Innovations at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they developed an advanced workforce analytics program using machine learning in python, MySQL, and R-Shiny to monitor anticipated firm hiring and talent needs.
