Tim Barter

Tim Barter is a highly accomplished VFX Supervisor with extensive experience in film and television. They have been recognized for their outstanding work, receiving a BAFTA in 2024 for "Poor Things," an Emmy in 2018 for "The Alienist," and a VES Award in 2009 for "Doctor Who." From 2006 to 2011, Tim served as the On-Set VFX Supervisor for "Doctor Who," managing a range of visual effects projects. Currently, they are a Visual Effects Supervisor at Union Visual Effects, overseeing multiple series and films. Tim holds a BA Honours in Illustration & Animation from Harrow College and has contributed to various publications in the animation field.
