Senior Software Engineer at Union

Steve Heyman has a long history of working in the software engineering industry. Steve began their career in 1986 as a Co-op Programmer at IBM Corporation, where they worked on compiler development for FORTRAN 77 and Pascal for IBM's AIX operating system running on the IBM RT/PC. Steve then went on to become a Senior Associate Programmer, Staff Software Engineer, and Advisory Software Engineer at IBM Corporation from 1988 to 2013. During this time, they worked on performance analysis for Lotus collaboration software, development and performance analysis for Pervasive Computing division, and led build and deployment of a multi-node, highly-available B2B eMarketplace for a major European automobile manufacturer. In addition to their software engineering roles, they also served as an Off-Ice Official (volunteer) for the American Hockey League from 2010 to 2013 and the Central Hockey League from 1996 to 2008. In 2019, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at UNION Point of Sale.

Steve Heyman attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
