For over 150 years, the Unione Ticinese (UT) has been a vital cornerstone and a trusted point of reference for the Swiss-Italian community in the UK. Founded to support emigrants from the Canton of Ticino and their descendants, our society has spent centuries bridging the gap between London and the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland by preserving its vibrant language, rich culture, and timeless traditions.

Built on friendship, legacy, and innovation, the UT is a key player in the UK's Swiss community, actively collaborating with our umbrella organizations, Pro Ticino and the Federation of Swiss Societies (UK).

Why Connect With Us?

We are a welcoming group connecting Ticinesi expats, descendants, and Italophiles through regular social events, networking opportunities, and cultural evenings. Whether you want to rediscover your ancestry, practice the language, or expand your network in London, you will find a home here.
