Stuart Simpson

Stuart Simpson is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the energy industry. They retired from Uniper in May 2025, returning shortly after as a contract technical consultant. From 2007 until their retirement, they served as Technical Head for Boiler Engineering at Uniper, where they oversaw the specification, design, and operational expertise of various boiler systems. Their career also includes roles at Powergen and CEGB, where they contributed significantly to boiler engineering and project management. Stuart holds a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester, obtained in 1986.
