Bethan Thomas is an experienced regional manager with a strong background in social partnership and local government advocacy. Currently serving as the Regional Manager and Strategic Lead for Social Partnership at Unison since January 2020, Bethan previously held the position of Regional Manager - Head of Local Government at UNISON Cymru/Wales from October 2017 to January 2020. Prior to this, Bethan worked as a Regional Support Official for the University and College Union from January 2010 to October 2017, and as a Senior Complaints Officer at the Information Commissioner's Office from September 2008 to January 2010. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Welfare Rights Officer at TENOVUS. Bethan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from BPP Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Swansea University.
