Peter Oates is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in counselling and psychotherapy. Currently serving as a workplace representative for Unison since April 2015, Peter also has been practicing as a psychotherapist since 2004. Previously, Peter worked as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner for the NHS from April 2009 to July 2020. Peter holds both a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling from Matrix College, obtained between 2004 and 2005, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Essex, completed in 2001.
