Bin Sun

Bin Sun has a diverse work experience in web development and integration. They started their career at Ocean Bridge Pty Ltd as a Web Developer in 2006, where they were responsible for database design, development, and administration, as well as web application development using ASP.NET and C#. In 2008, they joined Impact Data Pty Ltd as a Web Application Developer, where they developed the key product Smart Report suite for the retail industry using ASP.NET, C#, and Telerik controls. They also developed an OLAP cube as a backend database for Smart Reports using SSAS. In 2009, Bin Sun joined Toll Priority Pty Ltd as an Analyst Programmer, where they developed and supported key web applications for the business using ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, and MVC 2. They then joined Education Services Australia in 2012 as a .Net Solution Developer, where they worked until 2014. In 2015, Bin Sun worked briefly at IE: Pioneering the digital frontier as a Sitecore Developer before joining UniSuper. At UniSuper, they first worked as a Web & Integration Developer from 2015 to 2017 and then took on the role of Senior Web Developer from August 2017 onwards.

Bin Sun began their education at ShangHai JiaoTong University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from 1997 to 2001. Bin then pursued further studies at RMIT University, completing a Graduate Diploma degree in Software Development from 2002 to 2003. Afterward, Bin attended Victoria University, where they obtained a Master of ERP degree from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Bin Sun obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in September 2020.
