David Kaing

David Kaing has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. David started their career at Isobar in 2006 as an IT Operations Engineer and worked there until 2014. During this time, they gained experience in IT operations.

In 2014, David joined dentsu international, where they held two roles. Firstly, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer from October 2014 to December 2017. In this role, they focused on site reliability engineering, enterprise cloud implementation, and administration. Secondly, they served as an Infrastructure Solutions Architect from December 2017 to June 2021. Here, they were responsible for infrastructure management and solution architecture for Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on cloud and data center solutions in the media and advertising industry.

In 2021, David joined Liberty Financial Pty Ltd as a Systems Engineer. During their tenure from June 2021 to April 2022, they were a member of the Platform Services team and was involved in architecture, build, and management of solutions for Azure and on-premises environments. David also delivered an Azure Update Management solution using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

Currently, David holds the position of Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer at UniSuper, a role they started in April 2022.

David Kaing obtained a Bachelor of Multimedia (Networks and Computing) from Swinburne University of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they hold certifications in HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002), which they obtained in December 2022, and Leading at a Distance, which they obtained from LinkedIn in March 2020.
