Edward Cavanagh

Edward Cavanagh is the Director of Engineering for Security Software Development at Unisys, where they currently focus on integrating GenAI into work processes. Previously, Edward worked at Unisys Corp. as an I/O Architect, contributing to the design of the PCI Express Root Complex portion of a Node Controller ASIC and involved in the verification of a 32 processor IA64 server. Prior to this role, they served as a Sr. Software Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of software engineers practicing Agile and Scrum methodologies. Edward began their career as a Sr. Marketing Manager at Agere Systems from 1996 to 2001 and holds a BEE in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan University, which they completed in 1980.
