Sofia Platias

Sofia Platias has over 12 years of work experience in human resources. Starting in 2008, they worked as an HR Assistant at Panellinia Bank S.A. In 2009, they had temporary contracts as an HR Assistant at Bristol-Myers Squibb and as an Administration Assistant to the CEO at Eurobank EFG. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Payroll Specialist at Manpower. Sofia then joined IRI, where they held two roles: Employee Relations HR Executive from 2017 to 2019, and Human Resources Generalist from 2011 to 2017. In 2019, they became an HR Manager at Excite Holidays, where they implemented various HR strategies and achieved significant milestones. In 2020, they worked as a Sr HR Business Partner at Helloworld Travel Limited, managing local HR operations and supporting employees during the COVID-19 lockdown. Sofia is currently an International HR Business Partner at Uni Systems.

Sofia Platias has a diverse education history. Starting from 1997 to 2002, they attended The American College of Greece and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Following that, from 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Public Relations at the University of Stirling. Then, in 2006 and 2007, Sofia engaged in research at the same university, focusing on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Onboarding in the Hybrid/Remote Workplace" from LinkedIn in February 2023.
