Mark Junod

Mark Junod is a Software Engineer currently employed at Unit 410 since September 2025. Previously, Mark served as a Principal Software Engineer at TaxBit from June 2021 to September 2025, focusing on the Tax Engine team to ensure accurate tax calculations for cryptocurrency transactions in collaboration with tax professionals and product managers. Prior to TaxBit, Mark held positions as a Staff Software Engineer at Bazaarvoice and as a Software Engineer at Curalate, where significant improvements were made to machine learning pipelines and service scalability. Mark began a career at FirstRain as a Data Analytics Engineer, leveraging expertise in machine learning and natural language processing, and started as a Data Analytics Intern working on business document analysis. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Pomona College and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.
