John McGarvey

John McGarvey is the Chairperson of Long Island City Boathouse, a Co-Founder of ClearQuest Group LLC and Metropolis in Motion, and an Organizer at Long Island City Community Boathouse. Additionally, John serves on the Governance Council for FIGMENT Project. With a background in startups and activism, John has been involved in various projects such as MindsInSync Inc., Occupy Wall Street, Waterpod Project, and Kostume Kult. John holds a Bachelor of Con Arts in Persuasion and Humour from Hard Knocks and a BA in Theater from The University of Texas at Austin.
