Bianca Stancu

Bianca Stancu has a diverse work experience across various companies. Bianca started their career in 2017 as a Software Engineer Intern at Google, where they improved the user experience of the Google Trips Android app. Bianca implemented list filtering, sorting, and a search system using Java and Go. Bianca then joined USI Università della Svizzera italiana in 2018 as a UROP Intern, where they developed a Java Android application that incorporated facial expression recognition and physiological data analysis from a wearable device. In 2019, they worked as a Research Student at HERE Technologies, and later joined Unit8 SA as an Engagement Lead/Data Engineer.

Bianca Stancu's education history begins with obtaining their Bachelor's degree in Economic Informatics from Academia de Studii Economice din București from 2014 to 2017. In 2014, they also received the Oracle Academy Award for Course Completion in Database Design and Programming with SQL. Later, in 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Management and Informatics from USI Università della Svizzera italiana, specializing in Informatics. In the same year, they also attended the University of Zurich as a mobility student, focusing on Informatics. In 2014, they obtained the CAE certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment.
