Mami Yoshimura

Mami Yoshimura is currently serving as a Resource Mobilization Officer at Unitaid, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this, Mami spent over thirteen years at UNDP, where roles included Programme Specialist, Policy Specialist, and Programme Analyst, with a focus on resource mobilization and managing Japan-funded projects aimed at early recovery and resilience building in Syria. Mami’s earlier experience includes a Program Officer role at Education for Development Foundation Japan and a System Management Specialist position at IBM. Mami holds a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Washington.
