Monique Van Vliet

Monique Van Vliet, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Financial Controller at Unitaid, a grant-making organization focused on innovative solutions to combat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. With extensive experience in finance and management, Monique has held various leadership roles, including Senior Finance Manager at MyGardenBag.com and Director of Management Reporting at the University of British Columbia. Previous positions include Finance Officer at the World Health Organization and AVP roles at Lehman Brothers and UniCredit. Monique's education includes a BA in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia, a Diploma in Advanced Financial Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a CA from CPA Canada. Additionally, Monique completed the Women's Leadership Development Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2022.
