Matt Camp

Matt Camp has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matt is currently working at Unitary as a Platform Engineer since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Jigsaw XYZ as a Platform Engineering Lead and Technical/Cloud Architect from 2017 to 2019.

Matt Camp also has experience as a CEO and Founder at both AwesomeSource Ltd, where they developed an intelligent transport and logistics software platform, and Outcast Digital, a startup specializing in delivering streaming media services.

In addition, they have worked at Aviva as a Delivery Lead and Technical Architect, Monzo Bank as a Network Consultant, Legal & General Investment Management as a Technical Architect, Financial Conduct Authority as an Infrastructure Architect, WorldPay as a Network Architect, and Transport for London as both a Solutions Architect and Strategy and Technology SME.

Throughout their career, Matt Camp has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as platform engineering, architecture, network design, and project management.

Matt Camp attended the University of Canterbury in 1996, where they studied Computer Science, Astrophysics, and Philosophy. Matt did not obtain a degree during that time. In terms of additional certifications, Matt obtained the VMware Certified Associate - Cloud and VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization certifications from VMware in October 2013. Additionally, they received the Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) certification from Extreme Networks in 2003 and the Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA) certification from Juniper Networks in 2003 as well.
