Cssbb Michael McCord

Michael McCord, CSSBB has a diverse work experience in various managerial roles within the quality and manufacturing field. Michael currently serves as the Director of Quality & Compliance at United Performance Metals since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director, Global Quality at Armstrong Flooring, Inc. from September 2020 to December 2021. From November 2015 to July 2020, they held the position of Director of Corporate Quality & Facilities at iMFLUX. Before that, they worked as the Quality Assurance Manager at WS Packaging Group from April 2013 to November 2015. Michael also served as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer at OPW, a Dover Company, from February 2011 to April 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at Greif, Inc. as both a Maintenance Manager and Quality Assurance Manager from August 2004 to February 2011. Michael began their career as a Maintenance Technician at Mitsubishi Electric from September 1993 to November 2000. Throughout their career, Michael has gained extensive knowledge and experience in quality management, manufacturing processes, and facility management.

Michael McCord has a Bachelor of Science in Technology degree in Quality Systems from Bowling Green State University. Michael also holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maysville Community and Technical College. In addition to their education, Michael has obtained several certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in August 2023, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in October 2022, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in March 2022, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2008.
