Jared Nelson is a Vice President of Energy Resource Planning with extensive experience in the electric utility industry, having worked with investor-owned utilities and cooperatives. Currently, Jared leads a team focused on long-term capacity expansion and production cost modeling using EnCompass and PROMOD software. Previously, Jared held various engineering and management roles, including senior positions in resource planning and renewable energy procurement. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Florida Southern College.
