Mel Hicks

Mel Hicks is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Head of People Experience at United Response since January 2017, focusing on enhancing employee engagement and support. Previous roles include HR Business Partner at Moda in Pelle and HR Manager at Symmetry Medical and Britvic Soft Drinks, where significant achievements included driving sales growth and optimizing customer engagement. Mel also worked at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. Europe as HR Manager and has a strong background in people performance and employee relations, particularly within operational settings. Mel holds an MSc in Human Resources from Sheffield Hallam University.
