Michael Plotner

Brigade Standardization Pilot (uh-60l/m, Hh-60m, Ch-47f)

Michael "Josh" Plotner has an extensive military career spanning over three decades, currently serving as a retired member of the U.S. Army since March 2019. Plotner holds the position of USARAK Aviation Task Force Safety Officer since June 2017 and has been a Brigade Standardization Pilot since March 2000, providing crucial advisory support to the Brigade Commander and contributing to the aviation standardization program. Prior military experience includes roles as a Standardization Pilot, Instrument Examiner, and UH-60 Aviation Safety Officer. Plotner began military service as a Ranger (Infantryman) with the 1/75th Ranger Regiment from September 1989 to February 1996, participating in various operations and training missions. Educational qualifications include an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from Savannah Technical College and additional studies at Armstrong State University from 1997 to 1999.
