John Elder

John Elder is a highly experienced structural engineer with a robust background in large-scale projects and leadership roles in the construction industry. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at United Structural Design, LLC since February 2014, John has been involved in significant projects such as the Baseline Mini Storage facility in Phoenix. Previously, as a Project Engineer at PK Associates and a Structural Engineer at M+W Group, John contributed to major developments, including a $5 billion Intel campus expansion and a new semiconductor manufacturing facility for Global Foundries. With over a decade of experience, John has worked on various other notable projects, including educational institutions, prison facilities, and significant infrastructure in Las Vegas. John holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Structural and Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada.
