Benjamin Standefer is the Founder and President of Binary Tree, a prominent youth-led nonprofit focused on digital literacy in Africa. Currently, they serve as an Ambassador for United to Learn, where they co-founded a branch at St. Mark's School of Texas and contribute to curriculum design aimed at addressing educational inequity. In addition, Benjamin is actively involved with the American Regional Biology Competition as Executive President for the 2025-2026 school year, while also maintaining the regional website. They have gained experience as a Project Intern at the Child Poverty Action Lab and have held positions in web design and software engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas and Sartify Co. Ltd, respectively. Benjamin is expected to graduate from St. Mark's School of Texas in 2026.
