Thomas Amaro

Thomas Amaro serves as Owner/President of Pacific Ag Consulting and Managing Member of Pacific Ag Advisers. Pacific Ag Consulting specializes in assisting small- to medium-size agricultural and general contracting companies in defining and implementing the changes needed for expansion or turnaround. Pacific Ag Advisers collaborates with leading specialty crop producers and their pest control advisers to re-introduce “basic science” approaches for maximizing pest control and plant nutrition.

With approximately 30 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Thomas’ current focus is on strategic growth and business development opportunities in California specialty crops and on general construction "niche" markets in the federal contracting sector.

A past Chairman of the UnitedAg Board of Directors, Thomas joined the United Agricultural Benefit Trust Board of Trustees in 2002.
