Chris Storms

Chris Storms is an experienced patent engineer at UnitedLex Corporation since October 2019, where responsibilities include managing patent dockets, overseeing patent application processes, and conducting prior art searches. Prior experience includes roles as a project engineer at SPI Lighting, where product development and improvement were key focuses, as well as co-founding Forsythe & Storms Technologies, where patent reviews and filings were conducted. Earlier roles as an electrical engineer at Scot Industries involved troubleshooting manufacturing machinery and leading projects, alongside research experience at the UWM Photonics Laboratory in optical systems analysis. Chris Storms has a Doctor of Law degree in Intellectual Property Law in progress from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, complemented by a Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
