Ben Horowitz

Ben Horowitz is a director at UnitedMasters. Prior to that, they were with Uber from September 2016 to October 2021, where they served as Director, Head of Transit. In that role, they were responsible for the product and operations for Uber Transit. Ben also founded the team and created a strategy to bring Transit into the Uber app and make Uber a form of public transportation. Prior to Uber, they were with Assured Labor, Inc. from May 2008 to September 2016, where they served as Founder, CEO & Chief Product Officer. Ben was also an Associate with Innosight from June 2007 to August 2007 and an Equity Analyst with CreditSights from June 2004 to June 2006.

Ben Horowitz earned a BS in Industrial Distribution Management from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Emerging Markets from MIT Sloan School of Management.
