Valancy Hicking

Valancy Hicking is currently a Principal Researcher at Uniting, where they focus on understanding and addressing the challenges faced by homeless and displaced individuals. They previously served as a Research Officer at Mission Australia, where they designed and supported various research projects, including the annual Youth Survey. Valancy has a background in case management and evaluation, having worked with organizations such as The Salvation Army and the Recreation, Sports and Aquatics Club. They hold a Master's degree in Human Rights Law and Policy from UNSW Australia and have a passion for supporting vulnerable communities.
