Samuel Walker is a seasoned public affairs professional with over fifteen years of experience in strategic engagement, communications, and stakeholder relations across various sectors, including health and social care. Currently serving as the Advocacy and Government Relations Lead at UnitingCare Queensland, they have previously held significant roles such as Media Advisor for the Queensland Minister for Health and Community Liaison Officer for the Office of the Honourable Kevin Rudd. Samuel's expertise extends to founding Charitably Speaking, a consultancy focused on strategic engagement in the non-government health sector, and they actively contribute to Coastal Rowing Australia as Secretary and Board Lead. They hold a Master's of Business (Research) in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Social Work from Queensland University of Technology and The University of Queensland, respectively. Additionally, Samuel is a passionate rower and a published writer.
