Stephen Young

Stephen Young is a Senior Practitioner at UnitingCare Queensland, specializing in the Men Choosing Change program. They possess a strong background in counseling and family practice, combined with skills in therapeutic interventions such as ACT, CBT, and MI. Stephen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in psychology from QUT, where they focused on disability studies and were nominated for the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award. Their career includes roles in research, academic lecturing, and advocacy for early intervention services. Currently, Stephen also serves as a sessional academic at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
