Shane Schuler

Shane Schuler is a 32-year veteran of the manufacturing sector, known for his ability to drive injury rates and costs down while pushing productivity upwards.

As General Manager of Finishing Operations for Unity Aluminum, Shane is responsible for the safe and efficient production of aluminum rolled sheet from the Cold Rolling process to the end customer.

Prior to joining Unity Aluminum, Shane was the Coil Finishing Manager for Arconic, a publicly traded company specializing in lightweight metals engineering and manufacturing. At Arconic, he led the installation, commissioning, and qualification of a $300M automotive expansion focused on finishing operations. He was responsible for managing a department of 350 hourly (USW and IBEW Unions) and 42 salaried employees in a 24/7 operation.

Shane has generated impressive results, consistently delivering high production rates with minimal injuries. While working for publicly traded Alcoa, Shane led a team that won a Gold Impact Award for productivity improvements.

Shane graduated from the Iowa State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering and the University Iowa in 1991 with a Master of Business Administration.
