Amanda Vaughn

Amanda Vaughn, PhD, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Unity Environmental University, and as a Medical Science Liaison at Sarepta Therapeutics, specializing in scientific information dissemination to key stakeholders. Previous roles include Board Culture Officer and Advisory Board Member for Future Front Texas, where Amanda organized community events to support women and non-binary entrepreneurs. Amanda has extensive experience in scientific engagement and project management from positions at Aeglea BioTherapeutics and various roles at The University of Texas at Austin, including teaching and research positions, resulting in a PhD in Biochemistry. Early career experience includes technical roles at the University of Florida Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research and teaching English in Taiwan.
