David Morvant

David MORVANT has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Starting in 1996, they worked as a Project Engineer at BAC Corrosion Control Ltd until 1997. Then, from 1998 to 1999, they served as a Project Manager at ECA Group, where they developed and successfully completed projects in the oil and gas industry.

In 2000, they joined Bouygues Énergies & Services as the Head of Fiber Optics Service until 2001. David then became the Department Manager from 2002 to 2006.

From 2007 to 2008, David worked as a Company Director at Marais Group.

In 2008, they returned to Bouygues Energies & Services as the Deputy Project Director until 2011. David then took on the role of Company Representative and Subsidiary Manager in Pointe-Noire, Congo from 2012 to 2014, where they achieved outstanding growth in the Oil & Gas portfolio.

From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Business Development & Large Projects Manager in Congo and Cameroon, focusing on oil and gas and energy. Following that, they were a Project Director from 2015 to 2016, managing customer meetings and overseeing a solar farm project.

In 2017, David became the President-Director General of Bouygues Energies & Services in Côte d'Ivoire and West Africa, where they were responsible for various projects in energy and telecommunications.

From 2020 to 2021, they held the position of General Manager of Engie Africa, overseeing operations in West Africa.

Currently, David holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Unity International Group since March 2023, and they also briefly served as the Operational Excellence Manager from April to May 2023.

David MORVANT completed their education in a chronological order. David first attended IUT Toulon - La Garde from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a DUT degree in Génie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle. Following this, they pursued further education at Université de Toulon from 1990 to 1992, earning a Maîtrise des Sciences et Techniques in Ingénierie des télécommunications. Lastly, from 1992 to 1994, they studied at SeaTech Ecole d'ingénieurs, specializing in Ingenieur - option Ingénierie Marine, with a focus on Telecom, Ingénierie Marine, Electricité, and Instrumentation.
