Jaakko Virtanen

Jaakko Virtanen is a Senior Data Scientist currently serving as the Manager of Data Science at Unity Technologies since 2020. They previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Unity Technologies Finland from 2017 to 2020 and worked as an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group from 2011 to 2012. Jaakko earned a DSc in Engineering Physics from Aalto University in 2011, where they also conducted research in near-infrared spectroscopy and lectured on Medical Imaging Methods. Additionally, they have a background in analytics from their experience at Comptel, where they focused on customer behavior modeling.
