Larry Hryb is a seasoned communications and community-building professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Director of Community at Unity since June 2024, Hryb is dedicated to fostering community engagement. In addition to this role, Hryb is an advisor for Midwest Games, providing insights on portfolio growth and storytelling strategies. Previously, Hryb consulted for Aghanim to develop go-to-market communications for gaming FinTech products. Hryb spent over two decades at Microsoft, where responsibilities included leading corporate communications for game and hardware launches, managing the Xbox Live community from its inception, and launching MSN Music as Editor in Chief. Earlier in their career, Hryb directed promotions at Clear Channel Communications. Hryb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in TFR Production from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
