Stephen Kim serves as the Senior Legal Counsel for Unity since November 2019, managing all legal matters for the Korea entity and overseeing compliance, employment, corporate, and commercial issues while negotiating significant agreements and addressing investigations. Prior to Unity, Stephen held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Samsung Electronics, where responsibilities included addressing global legal matters for the Consumer Electronics division. Earlier experience includes working as an associate at Ditthavong, Steiner, & Mlotkowski, focusing on patent applications, and a summer clerk position at Kim & Chang, analyzing patent portfolios. Stephen holds a Juris Doctor in Intellectual Property Law from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
