Yao Wang

Yao Wang is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Unity, where they currently focus on advancing machine learning technologies. Previously, Yao served as a Software Development Engineer and Tech Lead at Amazon Web Services Deep Learning from 2016 to 2021, where they played a key role in developing AWS SageMaker Neo. Following that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer on the ML Platform at Waymo from 2021 to 2022. Yao also leads AI infrastructure efforts at an AI Unicorn Startup and is a member of the Apache TVM Project Management Committee. They hold a Master's Degree in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University Northwest and are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology.
