JT Perez

JT Perez has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. They started their career as a Claims Analyst at Cigna in 1989 and worked there until 1992. After a brief break, they re-joined Cigna as a Claims Analyst in 1996 and remained in that role until 1998. In 2000, they worked as a Unit Secretary at IHS Hospital for two years. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Volunteer Operations Manager at New Mexico GLBTQ Centers, where they supervised volunteers and organized community events. In 2014, they became a Facilitator at The Great Conversation, and continued in that role until 2017. In 2016, they joined NAMI as an In Our Own Voice Presenter, and stayed in that position until 2017. They also served as a Board Member at Equality New Mexico from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Co-Presenter at ETR Be the Change Transgender Professional Development Team, where they contributed to the development of workshops for transgender individuals in the HIV field. Since 2017, JT has worked at Alianza of New Mexico, starting as a Prevention Educator and later becoming a Non Medical Case Manager. Currently, in 2022, they are employed at UnityBPO in an IT role.

JT Perez attended Ranger College from 1986 to 1987, but it is unknown whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field of study during that time. JT then attended DeVry University from 2003 to 2004, where they focused on Networking. It is unclear whether they completed a degree at DeVry University.
