Scott Herd

Scott Herd is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and solutions architecture, currently serving as Lead Architect at Unitywater since May 2024. Previously, Scott held the position of Senior Solutions Architect at ACI Worldwide from March 2013 to May 2024, where responsibilities included designing and implementing real-time transaction processing systems for major Australian banks and other financial institutions in the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on transaction orchestration, anti-money laundering, and fraud detection. Scott's prior roles encompassed various technical and consulting positions, including Senior Technical Consultant and Software Engineer, where expertise in project management, risk management, quality assurance, and real-time software development was demonstrated. Scott holds a Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering with Honours from La Trobe University.
