Daniel Ball

Daniel Ball is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in maintenance and management roles. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Univar Solutions since August 2016, Daniel oversees maintenance operations for four top-tier COMAH plants and multiple warehouses, reporting directly to the European director. Previously, Daniel held the position of Lead Mechanical and Utilities Engineer at Flint Group, focusing on compliance with ATEX/DSEAR regulations while managing site engineering tasks. Daniel's career also includes positions as a Maintenance Engineer at Marley Eternit Ltd and Sherwin-Williams, and a Mechanical Engineer at Eiger Torrance, along with an apprenticeship at Ravenhead Glass. Daniel completed education at St Helens College and Haydock High School, supplemented by training at Waterside Training in 2013.
