Dan Freeman

Director Of Hardware Engineering at Universal Audio

Dan Freeman has over 30 years of work experience in hardware engineering. Dan started their career as a Hardware Engineer at Stanford Telecommunications in 1986 and worked there until 1989. Dan then joined Mountain Computer as a Senior Hardware Engineer from 1989 to 1990. After that, they worked at WangTek DAT Division as a Senior Hardware Engineer from 1990 to 1992. From 1992 to 1999, they served as an Audio Systems Engineer at E-mu Systems, Inc. Dan then worked as a Hardware Systems Engineer at the Creative Advanced Technology Center from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, they joined Tau Networks as a HW Systems Engineer before moving to Muse Research as a Consultant in 2003. Dan also worked at Apple, Inc. as the Mac Audio Hardware Engineering Manager from 2003 to 2009. Currently, they are the Director of Hardware Engineering at Universal Audio since 2009.

Dan Freeman attended the University School of Nashville from 1978 to 1982. Dan then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science at Vanderbilt University from 1982 to 1986.
