Mark Sires has extensive work experience in mechanical engineering and product design. Mark started their career in 1998 as a Design Engineer at Stryker Endoscopy and later worked at Gynecare as a Design Engineer. In 2001, they joined Frog Design as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. From 2002 to 2010, they held various roles at Digidesign, including Senior Mechanical Designer, Mechanical Engineering Manager, and Manager of Hardware Engineering. Mark then served as the Mechanical Engineering Manager at Grid-Net from 2009 to 2010. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Grid Net, where they held positions such as Program Manager of Applied R&D, Manager of Hardware Engineering, and Vice President of Hardware Partner Programs. In 2013, they joined Whistle Labs as the Director of Mechanical Engineering and later became the Director of Product Design. Currently, Mark Sires is the Director of Mechanical Engineering at Universal Audio since 2016.
Mark Sires completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mechanical Engineering at Kansas State University from 1992 to 1997. Following that, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Bainbridge Graduate Institute between 2005 and 2008, specializing in Sustainability, Organizational Development, and Political Economy.
