Yan Sun

Yan Sun is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in material science and process development across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Process Development Manager at Universal Display Corporation, Yan facilitates R&D new product introduction and oversees the development and characterization of OLED materials. Prior experience includes roles at GlaxoSmithKline, where Yan excelled as a Scientific Leader and Senior Scientific Investigator, contributing significantly to the commercialization of oncology assets and the development of innovative formulation strategies. Yan's career began at Rohm and Haas, where foundational work in active ingredient preformulation evaluation in agriculture chemicals was established. Yan holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, a certificate in Biotech Project Management from the University of Washington, and a BS in Chemistry from Peking University.
