Candy Farthing

Candy Farthing has a wealth of experience in educational leadership. Candy began their career as an elementary teacher at C.S. Lewis Academy in 2002, before becoming a Reading Specialist at Duniway Middle School in 2005. In 2008, Candy became the Executive Director and K-8 Principal at Oregon Connections Academy, where they led a staff of 140 and guided the organization to an enrollment of 4,000 students. In 2015, Candy joined Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Academic Officer, leading the organization through an exponential growth spurt with the opening of two new campuses, doubling the student population to 3,000 students. Candy then moved to Legacy Traditional Schools in 2018 as Superintendent, propelling forward progress for operations of two campuses and managing the development of a third, increasing the population of students threefold from 1,400 to 4,200. In 2020, Candy became the Board Chair at Amplus Academy, and in 2021 they took on the role of Senior Director of Operations at Universal Education.

Candy Farthing obtained a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from George Fox University.
